Overview

Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) operates Range Complexes across multiple geographic locations to provide safe, ready training environments for Naval Special Operations Forces, supported through comprehensive administrative, logistical, and facility services. In this role, you will further enable this mission by delivering range enterprise training support, including equipment accountability and maintenance, training coordination, scheduling, logistics, facility upkeep, and broader inventory management functions.

Security Requirement:
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET security clearance is required.


Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the NSWCEN Personal Property Manager (PPM) in data entry into DPAS as well as performing other related functions.
  • Assist in inventory management practices and procedures to include accounting and dispute functions, auditing, disposal, and coordination of training for subordinate units in compliance with NAVSUP - Fleet Logistics Center, Naval Special Warfare Command, and NSWCEN guidance.
  • Assist in identifying logistics issues and make recommendations to management, and support technical oversight efforts on significant Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) matters.
  • Assist the PPM as required for DPAS management and coordination with higher headquarters in carrying out matters related to programmatic, technical, and efficient operations of the program.
  • Be able to operate government forklifts. Driving forklifts is considered incidental to the performance of duties required under this contract and is not considered primary to the function of the job.
  • Occasional travel required.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 8 years of experience in a military logistics specialty within the last 10 years.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a military supply technician, either as active duty or civilian.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with DPAS, as well as COMNAVSPECWARCOM Instruction 4460.1D (Naval Special Warfare Force Logistics Manual).
  • Possess a current OSHA certification to operate a forklift.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Possess excellent work ethic.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pay strong attention to detail and be highly accurate in performing all tasks.
  • Perform duties independently, with minimal oversight.
  • The Contractor shall exhibit professional conduct and comply with all applicable Federal, DoD, Navy and United Special Operation Command regulations, instructions, directives, and policies in performance of this contract.
  • Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity and prior work with NSW (Preferred).
