Overview

Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) operates Range Complexes across multiple geographic locations to provide safe, ready training environments for Naval Special Operations Forces, supported through comprehensive administrative, logistical, and facility services. In this role, you will further enable this mission by delivering range enterprise training support, including equipment accountability and maintenance, training coordination, scheduling, logistics, facility upkeep, and broader inventory management functions.

Security Requirement:
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government SECRET security clearance is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Range Department in meeting near and long-term range specific logistics requirements and assisting in meeting day-to-day logistics requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of personal property.
  • Provide staff assistance to departmental Responsible Officers for inventory management.
  • Review provided range assets reports to ensure they are accounted for monthly conduct audit reviews of DPAS property records.
  • Assist in the development range project acquisition packages.
  • Assist in developing requests for procuring range supplies and services.
  • Monitor inventory status, requests for material and services, as well as material and services received.
  • Assist in administration and coordination of Government purchase card approval transactions.
  • Document / reconcile monthly requests and expenditures within the N9 Department, assisting the Budget Analyst with reconciliation of outstanding requisitions.
  • Develop equipment Life Cycle Management Plans (LCMPs). This shall be done using the current procedures and processes. The future intent will be utilization of Fleet Focus, which is a NSW logistics and asset management tool.
  • Occasional travel required.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years in military supply and logistics management.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Possess excellent work ethic.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pay strong attention to detail and be highly accurate in performing all tasks.
  • Perform duties independently, with minimal oversight.
  • The Contractor shall exhibit professional conduct and comply with all applicable Federal, DoD, Navy and United Special Operation Command regulations, instructions, directives, and policies in performance of this contract.
  • Be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with common/standard business software programs. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity and prior work with NSW (Preferred).
  • Experience with Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) (Preferred).
  • Experience with the Government Wide Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program (Preferred).
