We are currently seeking a Journeyman Computer System Analyst to support our client located in Bremerton, Washington. This role provides hands-on IT support, software management, and systems troubleshooting while working closely with customers, technical teams, and leadership to ensure reliable system operations and mission success.

Responsibilities
  • Process IT Purchase Requests (ITPRs) for software and hardware acquisitions.
  • Troubleshoot CAD/CAM software issues and resolve connectivity problems between tools and computer systems.
  • Install, manage, and maintain software licenses across network environments.
  • Support Change Control Boards (CCBs) to evaluate and approve new software solutions.
  • Conduct ACAS vulnerability scans and assist with testing and validating new software deployments.
  • Download, apply, and manage software patches and updates.
  • Generate reports using Splunk and develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI.
  • Develop applications and workflows using Power Apps.
  • Provide administrative access to CMDNet clients for software installations and troubleshooting support.
  • Utilize CMDPrompt and PowerShell for software configuration, system management, and policy updates.
  • Develop desk guides and documentation for new processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical support tickets and system issues.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NMCI environments, particularly supporting CAD/CAM troubleshooting.
  • Assemble and configure computer systems for customer use.
  • Configure user accounts and install required software and hardware.
  • Coordinate with vendors to support hardware and software installations.
  • Manage equipment inventories and track IT assets.
  • Deploy and verify functionality of PIT systems.
  • Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and applicable policies to systems.
  • Conduct system updates, vulnerability scans, and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate within Windows 10 operating system environments.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Maintain clear communication with Branch Managers, Team Leads, and customers to set expectations and resolve issues.
  • Provide support across branch activities as required.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.

Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • 6 months to 1 year of customer support experience.
  • 6 months to 1 year of general IT experience.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Security Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
  • The incumbent will be subject to a background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
