Position Summary

ANSER is seeking a Data Management & Analytics Lead to provide direct support to an Intelligence Community customer. In this role you will lead the design and implementation of an enterprise data management solution supporting research and development initiatives. In this role you will establish data governance frameworks, align system capabilities with mission and business processes, and deliver advanced analytics and reporting that support executive-level decision-making.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Assess the current data management environment and identify capability gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise data management strategy aligned with organizational and mission objectives.
  • Create and maintain a detailed implementation roadmap addressing system enhancements, governance controls, business processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts with technical teams, platform administrators, and key stakeholder organizations.
  • Develop and document enterprise data governance policies, standards, and workflow procedures.
  • Support system development updates and configuration improvements in coordination with system administrators and technical teams.
  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize data to respond to leadership requests and inform program decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualizations using enterprise data tools.
  • Track implementation milestones and provide status updates and risk assessments to Government leadership.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data quality, integrity, accessibility, and usability across the organization.


Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience supporting enterprise data management, data governance, or analytics initiatives, including experience designing or implementing data management strategies, overseeing system or data modernization efforts, and delivering analytics solutions that support organizational decision-making
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and oversight mechanisms
  • Experience developing and managing project plans or implementation roadmaps for enterprise data or system initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs), governance documentation, and business process documentation
  • Experience extracting, analyzing, and synthesizing data using enterprise analytics or reporting tools
  • Demonstrated experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, or analytical products to support leadership decision-making

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting research and development (R&D) programs within the Intelligence Community or Department of Defense
  • Experience aligning technical system capabilities with operational business processes in mission-focused organizations
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and integrating multiple data sources
  • Experience supporting fast-paced mission environments requiring flexibility, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing briefings and analytical products for senior leadership

$100,000 - $141,000 USD
