Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support the technical planning, integration, and validation of complex systems across their entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting rigorous systems engineering analyses-from initial concept development through design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and eventual disposal. This role requires a strong understanding of hardware and software integration, requirements analysis, and the ability to translate customer needs into viable, cost-effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Qualifications:

• TS/SCI (will need to obtain a CI Poly)
• Experience in performing technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept through disposal.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills accompanied with the proven ability to build and maintain partnerships
• Degree in Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, Systems Analysis, or related disciplines.
• MA/MS degree with 13+ years of relevant experience, OR
• BA/BS degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in a discipline aligned with the position's responsibilities.
• Experience in evaluating research performance metrics and working with scientist on research projects.
• Experience in coordinating testing & evaluation or research efforts, writing training and test plans, and transitioning research into operational environments.
• Experience in collaborating with IC and DoD agencies on research projects in relevant areas.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications, including the ability to prepare briefings of technical material to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in planning and tracking progress of complex technical projects and coordinating technical exchange meetings and working groups.
