Position Overview
We are seeking a Mission Trainer (Team Lead) to design, deliver, and oversee advanced intelligence and analytic training programs for U.S. military audiences. The successful candidate will be a Senior Analytic Facilitator with deep experience instructing intelligence professionals, developing curriculum in accordance with TRADOC and Army standards, and leading teams delivering training across multiple geographic locations. This role combines hands-on instruction, curriculum development, and team leadership, requiring mastery of analytic tradecraft, adult learning principles, and military training environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of trainers and analytic facilitators delivering intelligence and analytic tradecraft instruction
• Develop, maintain, and deliver lesson plans, presentations, and curricula aligned with Army and TRADOC standards
• Design training materials supporting intelligence goals, analytic rigor, and tradecraft standards
• Deliver instruction and facilitate training for military and intelligence audiences across multiple U.S. locations
• Review analytic products for rigor, cogent argumentation, and adherence to tradecraft standards
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and incorporate emerging tradecraft developments
• Assess emerging policy, doctrine, and academic developments for incorporation into training programs Mission Trainer (Lead) 2
• Maintain training materials and records within assigned educational systems (e.g., AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC)
• Develop and maintain training records, metrics, and tracking systems as designated by the Government
• Operate independently with minimal oversight while supporting senior government stakeholders
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
• Qualified as a Senior Analytic Facilitator in accordance with Government Technical Exhibit 2
• Minimum 5 years of experience drafting and formulating training materials or curriculum in accordance with TRADOC and Army standards
• Demonstrated experience instructing and conducting training for military audiences
• Demonstrated experience conducting training at multiple U.S. geographic locations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight Education (one of the following)
• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community (experience within the last 15 years), OR
• Associate's degree with 12 years of demonstrated experience in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or Intelligence Community
Security Clearance:
Active DoD Top Secret and able to obtain SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience related to analytic facilitation, intelligence training, or analytic tradecraft
• 10+ years of experience working in an intelligence discipline within the DoD or IC, with recent operational relevance
• Demonstrated mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies
• Experience reviewing and testing analytic products for rigor, sourcing, and sound conclusions
• Experience analyzing analytic operations and knowledge management challenges across organizations or IC elements
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Master's degree in intelligence studies, national security, international relations, or a related field
• Experience incorporating emerging doctrine, policy, or academic research into training programs
• Familiarity with Army or Joint intelligence training systems and platforms
• Experience leading distributed training teams or mobile training elements
Prior experience developing or maintaining training metrics and performance tracking systems
