Precise Systems seeks a Journeyman Communications Specialist to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR)'s Acquisition Management System (AMS) suite of web-based procurement and acquisition business applications. You will work as part of a team producing strategic communications and multimedia products, both internal and external, through a broad range of tools and tactics

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.

Duties:
- Work as part of a team to produce and deliver effective internal and external stakeholder communications using the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite as well as other current industry software.
- Create briefs and presentation materials for senior leadership; content for communications strategies, key messaging, talking points/speeches.
- Design multimedia and graphic products to include, but not limited to infographics, illustrations, logos/branding, photography, image editing, and publication design.
- Create marketing content such as promotional one-sheets, key messaging, trade show materials and leave behind materials.
- Assist with writing in alignment with AP style and government guidelines to craft user-facing communications including, but not limited to informational emails to system users, application help text and other content to support the AMS Development team.
- Draft non-using facing content such as internal documentation, system reference information, internal standard operating procedures, and Civilian and Military Awards.
- Support the creation of technical training videos and motion graphics using Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects and Audition.
- Candidate must be a flexible team player and self-starter possessing excellent organizational skills. The ideal individual will have the ability to function in a team environment or autonomously, manage competing priorities, and be able to meet critical project schedules.

Required Education:
- Bachelors degree
- A) An AS or AA degree and seven (7) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that
matches the experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree - B) Nine (9) years of overall experience plus the amount of detailed experience that matches the
experience/training requirement for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Required Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years' experience working in the strategic communications or graphic design/publication fields
- Experience with Adobe Create Cloud InDesign application required, Illustrator and Photoshop applications beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft apps such as Forms, Planner, SharePoint and Power Automate a plus.
Desired Experience:
- Designer (someone who already knows InDesign and Illustrator and has publication design experience)
- Marketing person (crafting key messaging, campaigns, designing materials)
- Writer (user messaging, help text, etc.)
- Video producer
