Senior .NET Software Engineer (Top Secret)
Location: Huntsville, AL – Redstone Arsenal
Clearance: Active Top Secret required
Relocation: $3,000 relocation stipend available
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to support a mission‑critical government program at Redstone Arsenal. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, scalable .NET applications, supporting cloud‑hosted and hybrid environments, and collaborating closely with platform, cloud, and cybersecurity teams.
You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, delivering high‑quality backend and service‑oriented solutions in a cleared environment.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications and services using C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+)
Build and consume RESTful APIs and service‑based architectures
Support applications deployed in AWS and/or hybrid cloud environments
Collaborate with cloud, platform, and DevSecOps teams to ensure secure deployments
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and system integration efforts
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
Ensure applications meet security, performance, and availability requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance
Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
Experience building web applications and APIs (ASP.NET, Web API)
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
Familiarity with cloud-hosted applications (AWS or Azure)
Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience deploying .NET applications to AWS
Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Front‑end experience with JavaScript or modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)
Experience supporting applications in classified or regulated environments
