The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Project Management Manager 2 to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems support team in Palmdale, California.

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Project Management Manager 2 to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems support team in Palmdale, California.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for managing an array of average to complex project.
- Perform as the primary liaison/facilitator and Project Manager for multiple projects, simultaneously, and will do so while working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Team (IPT) representatives, and leadership, as well as Manufacturing Operations, Facilities, IT, Security, and other organizations, and possibly other Programs, as applicable to the particular project.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to author and receive approval of requirements document.
- Use Jira, PERT, and/or MS Project to manage the projects.
- Communicate status of projects to leadership, proactively identify and communicate risks, expeditiously work issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree OR 6 years of relevant experience with master's degree OR 4 years of relevant experience with Ph.D.
- Candidates must have a current DOD Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
- Experience with using Microsoft Office tool suite; Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with developing PERT and Gantt charts
- Experience integrating across multiple teams and functions
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with Jira
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph is preferred
- Experience in an aircraft manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management System
- Experience managing capital and / or indirect budgets
- Certified Control Account Manager (CAM)
- Experience using Kanban
- Experience with iBuy
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated success leading multiple projects, simultaneously
