What You'll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will support the operations of the Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serving as the primary liaison between the customer, the project team, and management. A strong emphasis is placed on data-driven decision-making, advanced visualizations, predictive modeling, and automation using AI-enabled tools. A key component of this role will be developing mechanisms to resolve visibility and data analysis issues as they arise.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Operational Leadership - Direct day to day operations of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
- Liaison & Communication - Act as the central point of contact between developers, planners, and clients; facilitate meetings, status updates, and issue escalations.
- Schedule Management - Monitor project schedules, maintain critical path timelines, and produce weekly/monthly status reports for leadership.
- Data Analysis & Visualization - Build and maintain dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to provide real time visibility of key performance indicators, milestones, and financial metrics.
- Predictive Modeling - Develop and apply Python based predictive models to forecast project risks, resource needs, and outcome probabilities.
- SQL Data Management - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources into analytical repositories and reporting tools.
- AI Enabled Automation - Integrate AI and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, custom Python scripts) to streamline data collection, report generation, and routine workflow tasks.
- Issue Assessment & Resolution - Identify project risks and bottlenecks; devise corrective actions that improve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer - Lead the creation of standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and training sessions on data tools and automation practices.
- Continuous Improvement - Champion initiatives to enhance data driven processes, automate manual activities, and promote best practice analytics across the project team.
- Limited travel to client sites and internal facilities as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or a Master's Degree and 2 years of related experience.
- 2 years demonstrated record of data-focused analysis and automation professional experience
- 2 years professional experience with AI/automation tools such as Power Automate and custom Python-based bots.
- 3 years project management experience required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA) and dashboarding systems.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. (Interim Secret required at start). Must be able to maintain this level of clearance for continued employment.
- Office/warehouse setting with occasional exposure to technical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a defense or government-contract environment.
- Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker) for advanced analytics.
- Strong data-visualization and reporting capabilities.
- Proficient in Python for statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and scripting.
- SQL query development and data-manipulation experience.
- Prior work with cost-model development and financial forecasting in engineering projects.
