Duties:
- Provide classroom or training area instruction on course materials provided by the Government to support real world training for deployment readiness.
- Provide academic instruction to conduct classroom and practical exercises in accordance with course materials, program of instruction, technical manuals, and student workbooks.
- Review Programs of Instruction and lesson plans for deficiencies and shortcomings and make recommendations to the Government.
- Review the Individual Student Assessment Plan (ISAP) to ensure student information is accurate.
- Maintain classroom training equipment and training aids.
- Provide remediation training.
- Prepare classrooms and training areas as well as training materials for classroom instruction.
Qualifications:
- Possess one (1) year of college.
- Completed the Common Faculty Development Program - Instructor Course (CFDP-IC) within the last five (5) years IAW TR 350-6 and TR 350-70 or have the ability to complete it and shall complete it at the first available Government scheduled course.
- Must have held a position as an instructor in a military service environment for at least one (1) year.
- Must have a course completion certificate showing completion of UMOD.
- Must possess a working knowledge of UMODPC as evidenced by a minimum of three (3) years of experience with UMODPC and two (2) years of experience using the automated deployment systems of TC-AIMS and ICODES.
- Experienced and proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and ADOBE Acrobat Pro, required skills to access and use required training tools.
- Possess the ability to prepare correspondence that is grammatically correct and conforms to local format.
- Perform moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs.) along with long periods of standing, sitting, or walking. Be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions on occasion.
