You will be the Production Planning and Control Sr Mgr for the Manufacturing Planning & Control team. Our team is responsible for end-to-end manufacturing resource planning, material management, and production scheduling across multiple job functions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Production Planning and Control Sr Mgr you will be responsible for leading a high-performing group that drives manufacturing efficiency and inventory optimization.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple manufacturing planning, material management and MRP transactions (Make, Buy, BOM, MPS).

  • Oversee production-system integrity and implement inventory-optimization strategies to reduce cost.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules, recovery plans, and ramp-to-rate plans.

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions for a team of 50+ employees.

  • Partner with warehousing and shipping functions to ensure seamless material flow.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Demonstrated leadership and/or project management experience
Previous experience with manufacturing resource planning and/or production scheduling.
Desired Skills:
Previous experience in:
- Leading large teams of 50+ employees.
- Developing production schedules, recovery plans, and ramp to rate plans.
- DOD contract manufacturing.
- 5+ of manufacturing experience.
- Warehousing and material management experience.
- Lean manufacturing training/certifications.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
