For over 70 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. As a Configuration Analyst Associate Manager on the FBM program, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Able to direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Embracing and implementing supervisory standards that are based on corporate values and guidelines
• Responsible for managing and coordinating the efforts of their team, ensuring efficient workflow, providing guidance and support, and achieving collective goals. Decisions are long-lasting and heavily impact the organization. Engages with senior personnel on significant matters.
• Interfacing with the CDM manager and provide daily guidance to subordinates to ensure program execution.
• Working with the Navy to ensure customer requirements are implemented.
• Leading the Team by providing daily tasking for Configuration Data Management (C&DM) team. Providing mentorship and development of C&DM team members.
• Managing and performing all aspects of Data Management Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) scheduling, deliveries, and verification in accordance with contract requirements and scheduling unclassified and classified areas.
• Providing status to Program IPTs, preparing metric / status charts as required, working DM related issues with internal stakeholders, Joint Venture Partners, and customer representatives.
• Coordinating informal documentation releases for management control in EPDM for the unclassified and classified areas.
• Support of multiple Procurement IPTs. Leading the review and retention of supplier data. Managing configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL.
• Analyzing proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system.
• Coordinating modification records for management control.
• Establishing change orders and preparing change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor personnel.
• Reviewing and analyzing released engineering change data and coordinating changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a team or functional leader in Configuration Data Management (CDM) and integrating and implementing CDM program requirements.
• Understanding of Production and Development programs.
• Able to handle classified data in a classified environment.
• Demonstrated, or equivalent knowledge of Configuration Management hardware /design work.
• Experience with Configuration and Engineering Change Boards.
• Experience with reading and understanding Contracts.
• Experience with working with CDRLs and SOWs.
• Experience with working with Sub-Contractor SDRLs and SOWs.
• Experience leading teams, developing processes and business requirements, and collaborating with internal and external management or customers.
• Experience using PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems and/or tool administration; Livelink.
• Active Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Able to determine CDM contractual requirements in DoD Contracts, able to interpret Navy Ordnance Documents (ODs) and SPINST documentation, understands Contract Clins, and Program Directives (PDs).
• Oversee the timely monthly Contract Deliverables Requirements (CDRLs), and Supplier Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
• Demonstrated understanding of EIA-649 principles.
• Experienced in process program design & change management production and development design information using LM Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) workflow, including the use and implementation of associated change objects such as Change Tasks (CTs), Change Requests (CRs), or Change Notices (CNs).
• Contract and/or subcontract management.
• Program planning and start-up activities for Configuration and Data Management.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Data Management: scheduling, tracking, and submitting data and working with data repositories.
• Livelink / SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools.
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of sophisticated problems and train others in their application.
• Ability to learn Configuration Leadership skills on sophisticated systems such as: Engineering Release, Product Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, As-Designed/As-Built, Verification/Audit.
• Experience working on proposals.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
