Logistics Specialist

Candidate will be supporting a Navy contract as a logistics specialist. The daily duties will include delivering equipment. The candidate will be using a car rented by the organization to make the commute and drop the equipment off.

Job Duties:
• The logistics team would move devices from a delivery location to the final installation point.
• Provide the unboxing and initial assembly of furniture for VTC.
• Provide the unboxing and initial power up of printers and MFD’s
• Cleanup of the area removing all packaging and debris.
• Provide for the removal of existing equipment
• Place removed equipment in storage and/or prepare for shipment to a disposal facility.
• Inventorying and validation of asset records to track all equipment
• Responsible for the storage, maintenance, and safe use of equipment at the site.

Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Current driver’s license & clean driving record
• Ability to drive moving vans, and box trucks
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to use transport dollies, stair climbers, hand trucks
• Active DoD Secret Security clearance

Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional travel may be required
