Software Developer - Senior (Key)

Position Overview

Supports the United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and United States Forces Korea (USFK) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Cybersecurity Assessment Program (CAP) with effective knowledge management solutions through portals, tools, dashboard creation, knowledge training, and technical support, ensuring seamless collaboration and informed decision-making. Requirements include collaborative applications support residing on DoD networks (NIPR, SIPR, CENTRIX-K). Tasks include Client-Side Development, Knowledge Training, Web Development Services, Graphic Visualization Services, Customer Support, and Content Security Management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, code, test, debug and document custom or framework-based script and markup language.
• Communicate schedules with milestones, including technical reviews, audits, quality assurance checks, estimated project completion timeline and customer acceptance testing.
• Perform development work in a non-production development environment. Applications shall be hosted in a pre-release or staging environment closely mirroring production for user testing and evaluation.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, interoperability and completeness of deliverables, with appropriate documentation of testing results.
• Develop and annually update a portal governance plan, detailing practices, processes, and policies to maintain and enhance effective enterprise portals.
• Provide support for the operation of the USFK KM collaborative information environment software and applications.
• Provide timely and effective resolutions for technical issues encountered by end-users.
• Ensure the quality and security of content in UNC/CFC/USFK command knowledge systems.
• Define and test access privileges, control structures, and resources, identify any security violations and vulnerabilities.
• Implement security improvements by assessing usage; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Recognize quality or security problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations; provide accuracy checks for stored data.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Education Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
• Certifications: IAT Level II
• Experience: minimum of 7 years of front-end SharePoint administration, design, develop, test, maintain software applications, systems, implementing advanced technology and solutions.
• Proficient in written application code in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, Metalogix, XML or Office Open XML, .NET, and C#.
• In-depth knowledge of front-end coding using Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, DataVerse).

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Certifications/Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Proficient in Node.js, Visual Studio Code, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Certified Knowledge Manager (KMI), Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, Supported DLA or other DoD Agency.
• Experience working with Military, Korean language proficiency preferred for communication with Korean staff.
