Graphic Designer / Data Visualization Specialist (Key)

Position Overview

Supports the United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and United States Forces Korea (USFK) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Cybersecurity Assessment Program (CAP) with effective knowledge management solutions through portals, tools, dashboard creation, knowledge training, and technical support, ensuring seamless collaboration and informed decision-making. Requirements include collaborative applications support residing on DoD networks (NIPR, SIPR, CENTRIX-K). Tasks include Client-Side Development, Knowledge Training, Web Development Services, Graphic Visualization Services, Customer Support, and Content Security Management.

Responsibilities

• Leverage approved software to transform complex analytical data into clear and engaging visual graphics.
• Ensure all visual outputs adhere to established branding guidelines for a cohesive and professional look.
• Create graphics products to enhance websites, creative solutions, organize and manage projects with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Refine existing graphics to improve clarity, visual appeal, and impact.
• Design and publish informative brochures and pamphlets.
• Enhance staff understanding and application of data visualization techniques through targeted training programs and the development of supporting curriculum.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic arts or 2-year Graphic Arts Degree and 5+ years of professional experience in Graphic Arts, infographic design, information and data visualization, statistical graphics, publish brochures, and Dashboard development.
• Certifications: IAT Level II
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Apps, Data Verse, Power BI, Power Automate) to visualize reports to dashboards.
• Must be proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud software (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Certifications/Qualifications: HTML 5, CSS3, Certified Knowledge Manager (KMI), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solution, Developer (MCSD), Computer Aided Designing (CAD).
• Experience working with Military, Korean language proficiency preferred for communication with Korean staff.
