Job Title: Jr. Integration/Test Engineer

Location: Northern Denver/Boulder Area (5x per week On-site)

Security Clearance: SECRET

We are seeking a strong Specialist, Integration/Test Engineering to support the (U.S. Space Force Customer) for ( Ground Management and Integration Project). This is an exciting new initiative where the (U.S. Space Force Customer) is mirroring Silicon Valley processes and capabilities to quickly deploy new capabilities. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.

Ground Management and Integration (GMI) is a U.S. Space Force program supporting the Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMMWT) mission by providing the ground system architecture, integration, and management capabilities necessary to operate a distributed, resilient space sensing enterprise. The program focuses on the development and sustainment of software-intensive ground capabilities, platform integration, and cross-domain interoperability to enable command, control, mission management, and data integration across current and future space assets. GMI emphasizes modular, scalable, and platform-aligned solutions to support incremental capability delivery and long-term mission resilience.

Position Description (what you will do)

  • MSOC GMI Platform software baseline testing will be initially done in the SILs utilizing test harnesses, HWILs and E2E modeling and simulations for individual messages and then combining into System Level Testing/V&V procedures. All of these test tools will be developed, integrated and tested towards the front end of the MEG development period and updated as needed throughout the project. Software Version Release (SVR) testing and Regression testing will be performed as required, quarterly, based on FORGE and other Fusion system updates leading to SVRs throughout the entirety of the program in alignment with the SW agile release cycles.
  • Tester responsible for creation of Test Plans, Procedures, Reports for all the tests developed in the SAM for MSOC, SIL.
  • This includes being the POC for working with CM/DM in completing the DM document release process for all test documents.
  • This also includes working with the software tester and SW teams to track functionality maturity to incrementally create and update test procedures through the agile process.
  • Creating regression tests to cover all E2 MSOC functionality and execute those tests when required which could be as often as quarterly with FORGE and other system updates.
  • Attend internal and cross team meetings and working groups. 20hrs/month
  • Review all test team ADRL documents


Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related STEM field
  • 2+ years of experience in software test and integration on DoD or IC software programs
  • Hands-on experience supporting agile development teams through sprint and release cycles
  • Experience testing software from unit level through full system integration

Software Test & Integration

  • Support all MSOC software test activities across sprint cycles in line with Agile Definitions of Done in SOW Appendix A
  • Execute test cases for unit, integration, and system features under senior guidance
  • Run manual tests and support automated test execution
  • Document defects with clear steps, logs, and results
  • Re-test fixes and confirm issues are resolved

Test Models, Simulation & Test Harnesses

  • Assist senior testers with test models and simulation tools
  • Help verify MSOC functions inside test harnesses for each capability
  • Check interfaces, data flow, and basic functional behavior during test events
  • Support updates to test cases as new features are added

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Attend team meetings, cross-team syncs, and working groups
  • Work with developers and integrators to understand features and test needs
  • Review assigned test documents and provide feedback
  • Update test logs, test results, and defect tracking systems


Travel: Occasional travel (up to 10%) to support program reviews, integration activities, and coordination meetings at prime contractor or government facilities.

(Nice-to-haves) Credentials & Clearance

  • Familiarity with CI pipelines and running tests in shared environments
  • Exposure to simulation tools or lab test setups
  • Experience delivering test artifacts and results in support of government reviews
  • Active DoD Top Secret or SCI eligibility preferred

Prime-Sub Relationship Experience

  • Prior experience supporting DoD programs as a subcontractor
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within prime contractor engineering processes, tools, and configuration management frameworks
  • Experience delivering contractual artifacts to the prime in support of government reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
