Required Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• 2-4 years of administrative experience
Description:
• Draft correspondence and memoranda requiring independent judgment as to content; compile and analyze information from a variety of sources to prepare reports; ensure correspondence accuracy, format, spelling, and grammar; assemble enclosures, attachments, and other reference documentation before submission of the information to superiors for concurrence, approval and signature; make minor corrections to incoming and outgoing correspondence, recommend format and content changes and, if necessary, return to originator for corrections; and develop read-ahead material when required.
• Prepare and mail documents and correspondence signed by the Director, VWAP to the victims and family members or other designated personnel.
• Provide draft responses to public requests for information and assistance; compile and verify data for project reports; assist in document preparation and scanning; and perform data entry.
• Prepare correspondence and develop conference schedules and read-ahead materials regarding victim and family member CCTV sites and the operation of those sites.
• Provide the Director, VWAP responses to public requests for information, compile and verify data for project reports, assist in document preparation and scanning, and perform data entry and verification into the VWAP office databases.
• Provide general office administrative duties to include clerical work, forms management, equipment accountability, and securing and maintaining office space.
• Respond to VFM/witnesses questions in a sensitive and appropriate manner and raise issues with VWAP staff for immediate resolution.
• Prepare, copy and mail notice of orders, decisions, travel arrangements, correspondence, and perform other administrative/clerical functions using OMC specific processes and procedures.
• Perform other administrative duties as required, to include escorting VFM’s or other persons associated with hearings or trials to designated locations as directed by the Director, VWAP or other designated government official.
