Cloud System Architect II

Kavaliro is seeking a Cloud System Architect II to support a client in Fort Meade, MD.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical systems at Fort Meade. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, cloud platforms, and Linux-based environments, and has previously supported or worked within a ServPro team. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing secure cloud and infrastructure solutions in a classified environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform in secure environments
• Support and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure and services
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems across development and production environments
• Collaborate with ServPro teams to support service delivery, sustainment, and operational requirements
• Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and mission requirements
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must be current)
• Strong experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Solid Linux system administration experience
• Prior experience supporting or working with a ServPro team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting IC or DoD environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Location:

• Fort Meade, MD
• This position is onsite and there is no remote availability.

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Applicant MUST hold a permanent U.S. citizenship for this position in accordance with government contract requirements.
