Amentum is seeking to hire a skilled mechanical tradesman to support a project in Seoul, Korea. In this position you be joining a group of skilled professionals performing a new building project. The project has many interesting aspects and is led by a team of professional managers that work together to meet project goals
Project Details:
Work hours are 700 to 1730 HRS, Monday through Saturday. Transportation to and from the project is provided. Housing is a one-bedroom apartment located within 15 minutes by car from the project. Air travel is standard coach class, to and from point of departure.
Mechanical Tradesman Responsibilities:
• Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
• Be responsible for the planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments.
• Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
• Select materials necessary for the work.
• Install and test FCU / Piping / Insulation / Cladding
• Install and Test Chiller Unit to include piping / insulation / cladding
• Assist with the overall project goals, to include material handling, housekeeping and various activities that may arise while performing the work.
• Performs other duties and activities as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
• TS Clearance
• High school diploma
• 4 years working in the trade
• Overseas Experience
