Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal on an armed patrol post supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location. As a Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and reports with calm, professional communication. You will deliver outstanding customer service while partnering with site teams, bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges when directed, directing visitor processing, and monitoring gates and/or doors per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting arriving responders as needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to supervision and/or client contacts, and follow required protocols for restricted areas and sensitive assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
• Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
