Overview

VTG is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to perform and oversee systems engineering and analysis required to deliver technical support services to multiple customers within the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate and affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs), including, but not limited to Strike Force Interoperability (SFI), Command & Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Cybersecurity, Intelligence (C6I) Modernization, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) and Spectrum Management, Interior Communications, and Test and Evaluation (T&E). This position is hybrid and is located in Washington, DC.

What will you do?

  • Perform program and project management functions, including contract performance management, customer engagement, and quality assurance.
  • Assist the program manager with various contracted efforts. Interface with various points of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues. Provide assistance overseeing execution of the contract requirements. Provide assistance managing acquisition and employment of program/project resources.
  • Compile, prepare and deliver program summary reports detailing accomplishments, deliverables, near/long term priorities, and performance metrics.
  • Develop, implement and oversee employee competency development programs (e.g.: Engineering, Business Financial Management, etc.)
  • Lead and direct the work of others. Monitor, assess, and implement standards for sustaining and advancing workforce talent acquisition, capability development, and associated training requirements.
  • In collaboration with Human Resources, oversee employee performance management and development aligned with company values and business objectives.
  • Keep management apprised of customer and competitor situations.
  • Promote and oversee compliance with all corporate operational policies and standards.
  • Contribute to identifying and understanding federal government customer requirements and resulting business opportunities.
  • Participate in Government and Industry forums and trade shows to cultivate business opportunities.
  • Lead and/or contribute to pipeline development, capture strategies and proposal development.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 10-15 years civil service/relevant Industry experience.
  • US Navy surface warfare operational experience gained while on active duty.
  • Bachelor's degree supporting systems engineering, software engineering or significant analysis experience is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to perform efficiently and effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the customers.
  • Must have and maintain and active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP or DAWIA Level 2 certification.
  • Master's degree in engineering or business management.

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $120,000-$175,000 which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
