What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high-technology aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by post assignment.
- Monitor access control points and credential checks, verify authorization for entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as needed.
- Complete timely incident reports and patrol logs, communicate notable activity to supervision, and follow all post orders, use of force guidance, and firearms handling requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
