Job Description

As a Security Officer - Driver Perimeter Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero/defense location, you will monitor facilities, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while providing customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, helping to control entry and exit for employees, contractors, deliveries, and scheduled visitors.
• Complete reports and logs, communicate security-related observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
