Technical Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Lead to support a company focused on driving large-scale infrastructure, network, and security transformation initiatives. This position is hybrid role (3 days on-site) in Rockville, MD. The Technical Lead will serve as a key liaison between engineering teams, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders to ensure modernization milestones are met. This role directly supports mission-critical technical transformation efforts across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities for the Modernization Technical Lead include:

• Overseeing modernization progress across infrastructure, network, and security domains, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
• Coordinating with engineering teams and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical deliverables
• Managing schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
• Facilitating communication and influencing outcomes among technical teams, subcontractors, and customer representatives
• Preparing technical status reports, dashboards, and leadership-level documentation

Required Qualifications for the Modernization Technical Lead include:

• 10+ years of experience supporting technical project management or modernization initiatives
• Technical experience in infrastructure, networking, and security domains
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team coordination skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• PMP certification REQUIRED
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance

Compensation for the Modernization Technical Lead includes:

• Salary Range: $170,000-$180,000 depending on experience
