Location: Concord or Tewksbury, MA | Duration: 6 months | Pay Rate: $49.00-$51.00/hr (W2)

Join a dynamic engineering team dedicated to ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of cloud-based networks and software platforms. As a Cloud Systems Engineer 2, you'll be instrumental in driving proactive solutions, integrating systems, performing analyses, and shaping the future of cloud operations for high-impact projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable operations and sustainability of cloud-based networks and distributed software systems
- Integrate, verify, and validate complex systems for optimal performance and supportability
- Engineer proactive mechanisms to monitor and manage the health of distributed VMs
- Conduct functional, timeline, and trade studies to inform hardware and software requirements
- Leverage trends and metrics to drive continuous improvement in frameworks, tools, and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to system design, implementation, and documentation
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of cloud systems engineering experience (1-3 years considered)
- Proficiency in system integration, validation, and verification
- Strong analytical skills for performing technical studies and requirements allocation
- Active or ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
- IAT-2 compliance (or ability to achieve within 6 months)
- At least one cloud certification (required within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with distributed VM management
- Familiarity with trend analysis and cloud health monitoring tools
- Exposure to both hardware and software interface definition
