Location: Oklahoma City, OK | Onsite | 2nd Shift: 12pm-8pm | Full-Time | 3-Month Contract | 2 Openings

About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Technical Designer 3, specializing in electronic and electrical systems design and documentation. You will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and releasing electrical/mechanical drawings and systems designs, ensuring compliance with industry, company, and government standards. This position offers hands-on opportunities to work in lab environments, support system installations, and contribute to the reliability and safety of innovative products. Training provided post-start; ideal for technicians seeking technical career advancement in a collaborative, high-impact setting.

Responsibilities

- Develop, update, and release electrical/mechanical drawings and system designs using established design tools
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, incorporating design changes per standards
- Assemble wire bundles, install components, and troubleshoot lab systems for proper and safe operation
- Conduct and document product tests, analyze technical data, and verify system integrity
- Assist in identifying and resolving design discrepancies; perform thorough self-checks of all work
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to coordinate design activities and product integration
- Create and maintain installation designs, part layouts, maintenance, repair, and retrofit procedures
- Mark up illustrations and submit documentation following established processes
- Program documents for multiple SGML outputs as required, ensuring proper applicability and effectivity

Required Skills and Experience

- Electrical systems background
- Hands-on wire installation experience
- Familiarity with system/component installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- U.S. Person eligibility for export compliance
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance post-start

Preferred Skills

- Commercial or industrial electrical installation experience
- Experience supporting lab or test system builds
