MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Technical Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of diverse IT projects involving multiple disciplines to support our customer's mission. You will utilize your expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve complex issues, ensuring all project goals and requirements are met. You will work independently to solve problems, recommend best practices, and lead functional teams through varying levels of complexity while influencing others to adopt innovative solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Act as a Lead and manage the work of team members to ensure efficient execution.
  • Ensure the proper performance of tasks necessary to achieve project objectives.
  • Contribute directly to project definition, development, and system enhancement.
  • Ensure the team adheres to established cybersecurity standards and protocols.
  • Communicate project status effectively with leadership and senior external personnel.
  • Prepare and present formal project status reviews to Government stakeholders.
  • Engineer and deploy capabilities to improve system performance and maintenance efficiencies.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and/or network engineering project management.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Cybersecurity Engineering, and/or IT Security Audit.
  • Experience performing system break-fix and troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience working within Agile and Waterfall development processes.
  • Knowledge of Splunk and its application in an enterprise environment.
  • Must possess an active PMP Certification.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of an ITIL 4 Foundations Certification.
  • Understanding of Windows systems administration, TCP/IP networking, and network security.
  • Experience supporting customers and programs within the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience managing onsite IT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
  • Must be able to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email and phone.
  • Must be able to deliver presentations virtually or in person either seated or standing.
