Support advanced space warfighting readiness as an Intelligence Specialist, Craftsman at Schriever Space Force Base. In this role, you will provide intelligence analysis and scenario development supporting major United States Space Force exercises led by the 392nd Combat Training Squadron. Your work will directly contribute to preparing Guardians to operate effectively in contested, degraded, and operationally limited environments against capable adversaries.

Pay: $143,00 - $153,000

Essential Duties:

Threat Intelligence Analysis
  • Research and analyze current and emerging threats to U.S. space capabilities using open-source and government intelligence data
  • Coordinate with national intelligence agencies such as Defense Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and National Space Intelligence Center to maintain situational awareness of foreign space capabilities.
  • Assess adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), doctrine, and operational decision-making processes relevant to space operations.

Exercise Intelligence Support
  • Develop intelligence products that support planning and execution of major space training events including SPACE FLAG, POLARIS HAMMER, Flashpoint, and the SKIES exercise series.
  • Design realistic contested, degraded, and operationally limited (CDO) operational scenarios with plausible adversary courses of action.
  • Support mission-focused events and training activities aligned with operational readiness objectives.

Exercise Planning & Execution
  • Participate in exercise planning conferences, working groups, coordination meetings, and training events.
  • Serve within the Exercise Control Group (ECG) and White Cell during exercise execution when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure intelligence integration across exercise design and operations.

Lessons Learned & Reporting
  • Capture observations and lessons learned throughout exercise design, planning, and execution phases.
  • Facilitate exercise hot wash sessions and contribute to After Action Reports (AARs).
  • Produce mission documentation including briefings, meeting minutes, trip reports, point papers, and quad charts within established timelines.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in space intelligence supporting national security or defense missions.
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct intelligence support to operational space units.
  • Experience developing intelligence-driven training scenarios for operational exercises or wargaming environments.
  • Strong understanding of foreign space capabilities, including TTPs, doctrine, command and control structures, key decision points, limiting factors (LIMFACs), and Centers of Gravity (COGs).
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple agencies and operational stakeholders in a secure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience serving as a space systems analyst supporting intelligence requirements for space operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. national intelligence organizations, their analytical products, and relevant intelligence databases.
  • Experience supporting large-scale joint or service-level training exercises.

Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of education.

Required Clearance:
  • Top Secret/SCI with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility

Travel:
  • Approximately 3-5 weeks per year.
