Administrative Support Assistant
Department of Interior

Place of Performance: 50% On-site:1 Denver Federal Center Building 50, Denver, CO 80225 50% Telework
Schedule: Work hours for contractor personnel shall occur Monday through Friday between
the hours of 06:00 and 18:00 Mountain Time, except Federal holidays, not to exceed forty (40) hours per week. The contractor must work core hours between 09:00 and 15:00 and at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this PWS. When hiring personnel, the contractor shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the workforce are essential.
Period of Performance: Anticipated start date: May 1, 2026. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Period of twelve (12) months and four (4) 12-month option periods.
Required Education and Experience:
• Be eligible for a background investigation
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional training or coursework in administrative support, business administration, or office management is preferred
The Administrative Support Assistant will perform the following duties:
Timekeeping Administration
• Serve as divisional timekeeper
• Enter, maintain, and edit employee time and attendance records
• Verify payroll account numbers and accuracy
Travel Coordination
• Coordinate travel arrangements for divisional staff
• Prepare travel authorizations and vouchers
• Provide travel itineraries
• Ensure compliance with government travel regulations
• Maintain travel spreadsheets
Financial Reconciliation
• Reconcile monthly government travel card statements
Administrative Coordination
• Schedule divisional meetings
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders
• Support administrative functions for project management teams
Documentation and Office Support
• Route documents for approvals
• Maintain administrative records and spreadsheets
• Provide ancillary administrative services as assigned
