Northrop Grumman Defense Systems and Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Project Manager/Principal Project Manager. This position is located in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will work under the direction of the Restructure and Major Program Events Lead and will provide a wide variety of Project Management support focused on efforts ensuring timely execution of Restructure and Milestone Events. This position will regularly interface with a variety of partners including multiple elements within the AVE segment, Launch Systems Subject Matter Experts and the USG Customer. Facilitates project integration between stakeholders to deliver products required to adequately support the detailed schedule planning for Restructure and Major Program Events.
Responsibilities:
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Designs and implements solutions to complex problems, drawing on established precedents and policies as needed.
- Perform complex tasks, help set assignment objectives, schedule and organize activities to achieve those objectives, and ensure work is reviewed for adequacy upon completion.
- Influence organizational objectives and long range goals; make decisions that, if erroneous or unmet, would seriously affect the administration of the organization..
- Serves as the organization's primary contact on contracts and projects, engages senior internal and external stakeholders on significant matters that require inter organizational coordination, and develops and delivers presentations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Project Manager: 2 Years with Bachelors; 0 Years with Masters or 4 years of additional, related experience in lieu of degree.
- Principal Project Manager: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD or 4 years of additional, related experience in lieu of degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
- Working Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence and Jira), Tableau, Power BI, or similar workflow management systems.
- At least 1 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
- Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout.
- Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers.
- Experience planning, scheduling, and managing projects with many different stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification.
