Description:Lockheed Martin's Security Operations Center (LMSOC) is seeking a seasoned Security Assistant Senior Specialist to support our consolidated personnel security clearance and pre employment screening programs. The incumbent will provide advanced security services for domestic and international operations, supporting both internal security professionals and external government agencies. This role requires knowledge of personnel security processes, and a strong ability to navigate complex environment. The selected candidate must exercise independent judgment and decision making and be able to work with minimal supervisory oversight.
Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Defense Information System for Security (DISS) administration
- Security Information Management System (SIMS) administration
- Security Central system administration
- Applicant tracking system administration
- Analyzing clearance and pre-employment data to determine appropriate actions
- Researching and resolving escalated clearance and pre-employment tracking tickets
- Providing efficient customer service to applicants, employees, security representatives, recruiters, and managers across the corporation
- Supporting multiple designated tasks within the other Mission Support Teams as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform proficiently in multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required
- Proficient data entry skills
- Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance prior to start

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
