Description:You will be the Media Archivist for the SOF team. Our team is responsible for managing digital and physical media assets.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Media Archivist, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of digital and physical media assets, including digitizing, cataloging, preservation, and dissemination of various media formats. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Digitizing and cataloging media assets
Preserving and maintaining digital and physical media
Disseminating media assets to authorized personnel
Maintaining accurate records and databases of media assets
Ensuring compliance with US government and DoD visual information requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and media archiving software.
o Experience with Telestream DIVA and Vantage systems
o Strong understanding of various digital formats (video, audio, image) and their associated metadata.
o Understanding of legacy media formats (tapes, disks, drives)
o Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database management and data entry.
o Knowledge of digital preservation standards and best practices.
o Familiarity with the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS).
o Ability to understand, articulate, and perform troubleshooting on signal flow of both analog and digital signals.
o Familiarity with these DoDIs:
• DoDI 5040.02 : Visual Information
• DoDI 5015.02 : DoD Records Management Program
• DoDI 8500.01 : Cybersecurity
• DoDI 5200.48 : Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
• DoDI 5200.01 : DoD Information Security Program
• DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3 : DoD Information Security Program
COMPTIA Security+ Required
Desired Skills:
o Proficiency with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and media archiving software.
