Responsibilities
- Support network sustainability at ARW General Mitchell ANG Base in Milwaukee, WI to support network modernization efforts.
- Install, configure, cut over, test, and validate Cisco, Avaya, and Juniper‑based network solutions, including routers, switches, and security appliances.
- Collaborate with base personnel to isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues.
- Ensure full and accurate cutover of mission‑critical network functionality.
- Update engineering documentation, diagrams, and site reports to produce complete and accurate as‑built packages.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with general Network OS, routing/switching platforms, and security appliances.
- Bachelors Degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and years of relevant experience
- Security+ certification required
- Demonstrated experience conducting network equipment installations and cutovers.
- Networking certifications to include at least one of the following: Cisco CCNA, Avaya ASTA, Juniper JNCIA (current).
- Willingness to support a 24/7 shift rotation environment
- Willingness to travel when required (CONUS)
