You will collaborate with technical teams to improve performance, automate infrastructure, strengthen security, and support scalable cloud-native solutions that enable reliable government services.
Responsibilities
As an Oracle Cloud Networking Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments supporting federal operations
- Administer and support Linux and Red Hat operating system environments in the cloud
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Implement automation and configuration management processes using Ansible
- Monitor and optimize cloud system performance, security, and scalability
- Support cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and operational resilience efforts
- Collaborate with developers and engineering teams to support efficient cloud-native architectures
- Assist with disaster recovery, automation, and cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, procedures, and operational standards
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Remote work supporting federal program operations
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, and enterprise systems support
- T3/T5 equivalent eligibility
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Database
- Linux and Red Hat OS administration
- Terraform and Cloudbees Jenkins
- Ansible for automation and configuration management
- Cloud-native architectures and enterprise infrastructure support
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification required
- One or more DoD 8570 baseline certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CAP, CASP+ CE, CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GSLC, or SSCP)
- Support secure federal cloud infrastructure and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with experienced engineering and operations teams
- Work on high-impact government programs supporting national priorities
- Contribute to resilient, scalable, and secure cloud solutions
