Nightwing CODEX seeks a seasoned Senior Principal Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare (EW) Cyber Systems Engineer to lead the growth, development, integration, and deployment of advanced RF EW Cyber systems and capabilities across various government defense platforms. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our next-generation capabilities by merging technical expertise, innovation, and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical proficiency across diverse disciplines focused on tactical communication systems, electronic surveillance, electronic tracking, electronic attack systems, position navigation and timing systems, radar systems, RF digital signal processing, and wireless cyber-enabled EW systems. They will also have demonstrated success in transitioning complex R&D low TRL efforts into fieldable products and capabilities integrating with existing and future government defense platforms.
As a key technical and leadership contributor, the candidate will provide strategic growth and technology plans focused on alignment with advanced DoD and Intelligence Community customer missions, addressing emerging threats and enabling multi-domain operations that span space, air, land, sea, and cyber.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Innovation:
- Lead and develop advanced RF/EW/Cyber systems design and integration.
- Develop RF/EW-based cyber systems for integrated battlespace applications and resilient cyber-physical systems
- Manage multifunction RF/EW sensor lifecycle transitions from digital simulations to sensor labs through platform integration, testing, and deployment
- Align IRAD technology investments with current customer mission needs.
- Deliver expertise in RF design across multiple spectrum bands (LF, HF, VHF, UHF, L, S, C, and X bands)
- Exploit emerging technologies in anti-jam GPS, anti-spoof algorithms, and RF signal interception/denial strategies
- Communicate highly technical concepts and results effectively to internal teams, external customers, and stakeholders
- Engage in field tests using specially modified platforms for real-world validation of sensors
- Collaborate with customers to refine requirements and ensure alignment with performance objectives across multiple missions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field (Advanced degrees highly preferred)
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including RF/EW system development, integration, testing and fielding
- Extensive experience with Electronic Attack platforms and pods currently used by government customers
- Experience developing and delivering technical architectures for military GPS, RF, navigation, timing, advanced EW systems, and cyber-enabled RF integration
- Exceptional technical writing/presentation skills to convey highly technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and stakeholders
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field
- Expertise in HW/SW Reverse Engineering, Binary Analysis, and disassemblers
- Experience in fielding RF systems, alternative navigation technologies, or cooperative sensing systems
