Progressive Technology Federal Systems, Inc. (PTFS) is a leading enterprise Content Services Platform (eCSP) provider to Federal, Civilian, and DoD agencies. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) Infrastructure Operations, specifically within the Records and Privacy (R&P) department.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) Infrastructure Operations, specifically within the Records and Privacy (R&P) department.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager is considered Key Personnel and is responsible for the overall management of the contract operations support functions.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of PTFS support personnel, including Records and Information Managers and Specialists.
- Operational Management: Organize, direct, and manage complex, inter-related project tasks involving agency-wide inventories, file plans, records appraisal, and digitization strategies.
- Client Interface: Maintain and manage the client interface at senior levels within the GAO; meet regularly with Government and Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables.
- Performance Oversight: Ensure strict conformance with program task schedules and costs. Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and oversee an internal review process to ensure 100% Quality Assurance (QA) on all work products produced under the contract.
- Availability: Set a work schedule within GAO core hours (6:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday). Respond to or acknowledge all communications and taskings within 24 hours of receipt.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs) detailing accomplishments, milestones, technical progress, and staffing updates.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience performing program and project management support services, specifically within a government contracting environment performing records and information management tasks.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) policies, the Federal Records Act, and Electronic Records Management Systems (ERMS).
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Location: This is a full-time, on-site position at GAO Headquarters in Washington, D.C. (Occasional ad-hoc telework may be approved by the COR).
Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in an information or business discipline or a field related to the work of the contract.
