OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical programs. This role will focus on building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support modern software delivery and AI/ML-enabled capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience with AWS cloud environments, infrastructure as code, containerized applications, and automated CI/CD pipelines in secure government environments. This role will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and security teams to deliver reliable platforms that support advanced analytics and AI/ML workloads.

The ideal candidate has experience with AWS cloud environments, infrastructure as code, containerized applications, and automated CI/CD pipelines in secure government environments. This role will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and security teams to deliver reliable platforms that support advanced analytics and AI/ML workloads.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, integration, and deployment of applications.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Deploy and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure supporting DoD mission systems.
- Implement and manage containerized environments using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with software development teams to optimize build, deployment, and release processes.
- Support the deployment and operationalization of AI/ML models and data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Implement automation to improve system reliability, security, and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security and accreditation standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs, security controls).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues across infrastructure and applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices, tooling, and architecture.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools
- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads, pipelines, or infrastructure
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience working in secure or government environments
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs
- Familiarity with ML Ops practices
- Experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience with AWS GovCloud
- Knowledge of security frameworks (RMF, NIST 800-53)
- AWS or DevOps certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps
- Engineer, etc.)
