About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Task Lead as our Senior Knowledge Manager to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, supporting the Unites States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The Knowledge Manager will play a critical role in managing, organizing, and optimizing information and knowledge-sharing processes to enhance mission effectiveness. This position requires expertise in knowledge management systems, collaboration tools, and the ability to streamline workflows to support intelligence and operational objectives.

Details
Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Task Lead as our Senior Knowledge Manager to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, supporting the Unites States Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The Knowledge Manager will play a critical role in managing, organizing, and optimizing information and knowledge-sharing processes to enhance mission effectiveness. This position requires expertise in knowledge management systems, collaboration tools, and the ability to streamline workflows to support intelligence and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage KM strategies, policies, and processes.
- Manage content lifecycle, taxonomies, metadata, and knowledge repositories across SIPR, NIPR, BICES, and APAN.
- Enable cross-domain information sharing while ensuring security and compliance.
- Provide training, guidance, and outreach to users and stakeholders on KM tools and best practices.
- Conduct knowledge audits, capture lessons learned, and facilitate communities of practice.
- Support integration of KM with intelligence, operations, and analytics workflows.
- Experience with SOF-specific knowledge management systems
- Familiarity with MISO/influence operations knowledge products
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
- Education: Master's degree in Library Science, Information Management, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in knowledge management
- Technical/Domain: Multi-domain experience with SIPR/NIPR/BICES/APAN; familiarity with collaboration platforms, content management systems, and metadata standards
- DoD Experience: Preferred
- Skills: Information architecture, taxonomy development, user training, policy development, strong written/verbal communication
Desired / Preferred
- Prior experience in DoD, SOF, or USSOCOM environments
- Experience developing and delivering training curricula
- Experience with KM tool administration, access controls, and cross-domain solutions
- Familiarity with data governance, records management, and cybersecurity for classified environments
