Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Task Lead as our Capability/Requirements Manager to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, supporting the Unites States Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
Responsibilities
- Lead capability requirements development and management across lifecycle phases.
- Conduct DOTMLPF-P analyses to identify non-material and material solutions.
- Support JCIDS processes: capability documents, CDD/CPD inputs, ICD/CRD development and staffing.
- Translate SOF operational needs into validated requirements and prioritized capability roadmaps.
- Coordinate with program offices, requirements sponsors, acquisition, logistics, training, and industry partners.
- Track and report capability maturity, risk, and resource implications; develop CONOPS and capability briefs.
- Facilitate stakeholder working groups, wargames, and experimentation to validate solutions.
- Mentor staff on requirements processes and documentation standards.
- Experience with SOF-specific capability development processes (SOFCIDS)
- Familiarity with rapid acquisition authorities (Section 804, OTAs)
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in capability or requirements management
- Functional Expertise: DOTMLPF-P analysis, JCIDS experience, requirements documentation, CONOPS development
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of SOF operations and mission sets
- Skills: Stakeholder engagement, requirements writing, program coordination, briefings to senior leadership
- Master's degree preferred
- Prior DoD/USSOCOM/TSOC experience
- Experience with experimentation, prototyping, or rapid fielding processes
- Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle and program management fundamentals
- Experience coordinating with PEOs and acquisition organizations
