We have an outstanding position for a Software Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Huntsville, AL surrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**
In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Recent 5 years of hands-on experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python.
Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university with 5 years of professional hands-on experience.
Active/Final Secret Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (GreenHill or VxWorks).
Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements.
Previous experience in Software and Hardware integration.
