Amentum, a large government contractor, supporting the US government and military around the world, is seeking an Operations Manager to support the Navy Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center Range in the Bahamas that is managed out of West Palm Beach Florida.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Works directly for the Program Manager to oversee the planning and execution of all test events.
- Works closely with the customer to identify requirements and develop solutions.
- Manage a team of employees that plan and execute range events including estimating and capturing overall cost, developing and managing schedules to maximize the efficient use of internal labor and contracted labor.
- Works closely with the end users and customers to de-conflict resource constraints, environmental difficulties, and technical concerns.
- Manage several diverse organizations to support Navy Underwater T&E Range operations including Range Services, Test Services and Planning, Helicopter Services, and Marine operations.
- Manage employees operating and installing in-water acoustic tracking, in-air tracking, communication, networking, and graphic display systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
- Bachelor's Degree in managerial or business will be considered if applicants have DoD MRTFB range or other technical experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional management experience overseeing employees and complex technical projects.
- Master's degree can substitute for three (3) years of professional experience.
- Must demonstrate project management skills that show ability to monitor and control costs and meet aggressive schedules in challenging environments.
- Experience working on DoD MRTFB Ranges and/or Navy practices and protocols is preferred. US driver's license and passport with ability to travel OCONUS as needed for Program business.
- Valid driver's license and a U.S. passport will be required.
