- Provide expert consultative support to a functional technical area of the project.
- Develop solutions to complex problems.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing NIST/FISMA compliant policies, standards and guidelines covering data security, disaster recovery, continuity of operations, and contingency planning.
- Work closely with the information technologists to identify the best technological solution to technical issues.
- Familiar with transitioning to an RMF and ISCM model for SA&A work.
- Have a firm understanding of SA&A, continuous monitoring, risk scoring, and risk management experience.
- Should have RSA Archer or similar tool experience to support aforementioned activities.
- Provide technical planning project management, software development, requirements management and acquisition support, integration and engineering services, and other services as required in support of the data management team.
- Oversees and manages complex, state of the art, new unique programs arid/or projects related to information technology.
- Develops and presents position papers related to assignments that clearly articulate the issues and presents substantive conclusions and recommendations based on reviews and evaluations conducted while at the same time ensures recommendations are feasible, complete, integrated, comprehensive, defendable, and affordable.
- Develops, manages, synchronizes, and integrates assessments and recommendations developed for senior leadership.
- Drafting documentation related to various strategies, directives, technical guidance memos within CIO. Assist in responding to IC and DoD data related taskers as required.
- Attending data related working group meetings, such as the Data Stewards Working Group & Data Architecture Council.
- Maintaining awareness of data related activities across the IC and DoD and provide awareness to Branch Leadership. Represent the Branch in IC and DoD forums as required.
- Provide documented assessment, updates, guidance, and recommendations regarding data governance, roadmaps, processes, and data standards through proactive discovery, recurring engagement, and evaluation of current and future initiatives and capabilities.
- Assist mission stakeholders with planning for future data needs in the preparation of reports to DIA leadership on progress with data efforts, with outreach efforts to industry, academic, and other government entities.
- TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain a polygraph)
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience
- Education: Master's degree
