About the Opportunity
SNI Technology / Paladin is seeking a Strategic Advisor / Research Analyst to support a federal IT and cyber-focused program located at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. This role serves as an Action Officer responsible for coordinating strategic initiatives, managing operational tasks, and supporting leadership decision-making in a structured government environment.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, executive leadership, or strategic operations, with strong skills in research, technical writing, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Information Management & Analysis
Gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Develop actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Ensure data and insights are accurate, timely, and relevant to operational goals.
Document Preparation & Communication
Draft clear and concise reports, memos, briefings, and decision papers.
Maintain high standards of technical writing and documentation.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Project & Initiative Coordination
Support planning and execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
Track progress, identify risks, and help implement corrective actions.
Ensure initiatives remain aligned with organizational objectives and timelines.
Staff & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a liaison between leadership and operational teams.
Facilitate cross-department collaboration and coordination.
Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Policy & Procedure Development
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
Decision Support
Provide research and subject matter insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare briefing materials and decision packages for senior leadership review.
Crisis & Contingency Planning
Support contingency planning and emergency response initiatives.
Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Military Science, or a related field
Security Clearance
Active Secret Clearance required
Experience
3+ years of professional experience in a structured organizational environment
Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and project coordination
Experience tracking technical deliverables and documenting meeting minutes
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
