Scope of Work: We are seeking a skilled .NET Engineer to join our agile development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing user stories from the backlog, delivering high-quality, tested code, and assisting with story estimation during Iteration Planning Meetings. As a .NET Engineer, you will guide the implementation of new features and effectively communicate the technical implications of product decisions and prioritization to the team.
Responsibilities:
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Develop and deliver user stories and associated tests in a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment.
• Utilize a tech stack that includes .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and XSLT.
• Develop and maintain RESTful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in .NET.
• Work collaboratively through pair programming within an Extreme Programming (XP) framework.
• Correlate business and technical requirements to specific development tasks.
• Actively participate in an Agile Development environment that combines Lean, Scrum, and XP frameworks.
• Maintain clear documentation using tools like Atlassian Confluence.
• Update and manage tasks and user stories in JIRA with appropriate detail.
• Contribute to the application build and deployment process through CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics
• Required Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
• Required Security +
• 3+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• Derive results from teams without direct authority.
• Proactively identify potential issues and provide recommended solutions.
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders of varying technical expertise and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams and people.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be detail oriented to ensure a high level of quality/accuracy.
• Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance
