Job Description

As a Security Officer: Patrol Driver Clearance Required in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced aero and defense location as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and document observations while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. You will work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity, helping protect people, property, and mission-critical operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials, and documenting entries and exits.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including monitoring designated areas and reporting unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation using required forms and/or systems, and communicate relevant information during post orders and shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess CPR certification, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
