You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist tenants, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and building activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required by site policy, and help direct visitors to the appropriate destinations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and/or suspicious activity, and request additional resources when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
