Job Description

As a Security Officer - Security Clearance Driver in MANASSAS, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter incidents, and provide strong customer service and clear communication to site teams and visitors. This is a driving post, so you may use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and rapid response. You will be part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Monitor and control access to an aerospace and defense location by verifying identification, supporting badging and credential checks, and directing visitors and deliveries to the proper points of contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting site response teams when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including doors, gates, restricted areas, and perimeter points, and report irregularities according to post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs such as incident reports, patrol activity logs, and visitor or delivery records, and communicate noteworthy activity to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
