Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and unusual activity. This is an armed and driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and armed guard card or license. You will deliver clear communication and customer service while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by post and shift.
• Control access at designated posts by checking identification and/or credentials, verifying authorization for restricted areas, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Operate and monitor security-related equipment such as radios, cameras and access control systems, and complete accurate shift logs, patrol reports and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a Secret Clearance
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
