PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst 3 to support critical production operations in Auburn, WA. This role is responsible for managing material flow, coordinating planning and procurement activities, and ensuring on-time delivery to production teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and experienced in complex manufacturing or aerospace supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Incorporate change and planning decisions to determine optimal supply chain solutions.
- Apply SCM methodologies to coordinate global supply chain activities.
- Analyze complex material requirements and reconcile demand.
- Verify and integrate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into actionable production plans.
- Determine and maintain part number attributes.
- Initiate, coordinate, and authorize production order releases based on system requirements and resource availability.
- Track and ensure on-time delivery of materials to production.
- Document and resolve order delinquencies and schedule adherence issues.
- Develop and manage inventory plans; optimize inventory levels.
- Analyze and disposition excess inventory.
- Initiate and support audits as needed.
- Create and maintain product and service schedules.
- Support estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
- Identify, implement, and sustain process improvements to enhance SCM performance.
- Work with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate material flow from internal and external suppliers.
- Release and track production work orders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and schedule adherence metrics.
- Convert BOMs and production schedules into executable plans using SCM tools and systems.
- Drive issue resolution through effective communication and escalation.
- Strong SCM analytical capabilities, including MRP/planning, BOM interpretation, demand reconciliation, and inventory optimization.
- Experience with procurement workflows, supplier communication, and production order release/tracking.
- Proficiency with enterprise SCM/ERP systems and standard office tools (spreadsheets, reporting).
- Continuous improvement mindset; able to perform process analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with large-scale ERP/MRP systems used in aerospace (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated achievements in reducing inventory, improving schedule adherence, or implementing supply chain process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of related experience, OR
- Master's degree plus 4+ years related experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
